 COMPUTER USE POLICIES:

 

 

COMPUTER USE IN THE KENWOOD HIGH LIBRARY IS SUBJECT TO THE REGULATIONS FOR APPROPRIATE USE

AS STATED BY THE CLARKSVILLE MONTGOMERY COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM

AND THE CMCSS STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

 

Š      STUDENTS MAY NOT USE SCHOOL COMPUTERS FOR CHAT ROOMS, GAMES, DOWNLOADS OR INTERNET SOCIAL SITES SUCH AS “FACEBOOK.”

 

Š      STUDENTS MAY ACCESS THEIR EMAIL WITH PERMISSION FROM ONE OF THE MEDIA SPECIALISTS WHEN

IT PERTAINS TO SCHOOL RELATED NEEDS.

 

Š      STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO CHANGE, ADD OR DELETE THE CONFIGURATION OR PROPERTIES OF SCHOOL COMPUTERS. 

 

 

Š      STUDENTS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALTERATIONS OR DAMAGE TO A COMPUTER OR ITS COMPONENTS

WILL LOSE THE RIGHT TO USE THE COMPUTERS AND ARE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION!

LIBRARY CHECK OUT POLICIES:

REGULAR BOOK CHECKOUT PERIOD IS THREE WEEKS.

MAGAZINES MAY BE CHECKED OUT FOR ONE DAY/OVERNIGHT.  

THE CURRENT MONTH'S ISSUE ON DISPLAY MAY NOT BE CHECKED OUT. 

  STUDENTS WHO HAVE OVERDUE ITEMS, OUTSTANDING FINES, AND/OR THOSE ON THE SCHOOL DEBT LIST FROM ANY CMCSS SCHOOL MAY NOT CHECK OUT BOOKS OR MAGAZINES.

OVERDUE FINES ARE 10 CENTS A DAY PER ITEM.

  STUDENTS MAY HAVE A TOTAL OF THREE ITEMS CHECKED OUT AT ONE TIME.  BOOKS MAY BE RENEWED ONE TIME.

  STUDENTS MUST PAY FOR ALL LOST ITEMS.  THERE MAY BE FINES FOR DAMAGED BOOKS OR MAGAZINES.

Students with outstanding debts to the school, library and cafeteria will be added to the Bookkeeping Offices DEBT LIST for collection.
