Mrs. Sandra Black
Contemporary Issues & AP Human Geography
I have planned an exciting educational year. This class will include an interesting variety of teaching strategies to increase the students' knowledge of current events, trends and social developments in our world and enable them to discover their values and responsibilities as citizens. My family includes a wonderful husband of 32 years, Mark Black, two fantastic children, and their spouses. Hopefully you will see us at a variety of school functions. I enjoy kayaking, walking and traveling in my spare time.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in history and geography and a Master of Arts degree in Education from Austin Peay State University. This year marks the beginning of my 29th year teaching. I have been at RHS since the building opened! I am the Multicultural Club sponsor and can often be seen at after school events. I hope my enthusiasm for teaching spurs a life long interest and awareness of the amazing world around us!
