Lady Wildcats go 21-9, earn share of District Title
February 24th,2018...The Lady Wildcats finished the 2017-18 season with a record of 21 wins and 9 losses. It was the the third consecutive 20 win season for the progam. After graduating 6 seniors from last year's state bound team, this year's team lost 2 starters to season ending injuries very early in the season. Yet, this group was not to be denied. Despite losing their first 3 games of the season, the Wildcats strung together multiple winning streaks through out the season as they improved and performed as a team.
The team finished as District 10 AAA Co-Champions with a 14-2 district record. 2 wins in the district tournament earned them a berth into the region tournament where they fell to Wilson Central. Graduation and injuries opened up opportunities for many of our young players and they responded to make this a great season!
